National Network to End Domestic Violence 


NNEDV is a network of state domestic violence coalitions, representing over 2,000 member organizations nationwide. We work to relay the needs of victims and advocacy programs to policymakers, corporate partners and cross sector collaborators at the national level.  We provide training and technical assistance that supports local programs. We also convene national and regional meetings to develop comprehensive solutions for the field. 


Senior level leadership role in organization, reporting to VP Programs. Act as lead on team that serves as primary troubleshooters providing technical assistance and support to state coalitions, state administrators of federal funds and local, state and tribal domestic violence programs.

Louisiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence          

January 2010 - December 2016

The Louisiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence (LCADV) is the state’s federally-recognized network of community-based domestic violence programs.  

Lead lobbyist and policy advisor at both state and federal levels.  Principle author of first ever protocol on trauma informed response to children exposed to domestic homicide. Chaired mortality reviews of non-medical pregnancy associated deaths at Louisiana Department of Health.

Extensive experience in administration, fund management and grant writing, achieving more than 120 grants to more than 30 funders with total awards in excess of $13 million. Excellent trainer and public speaker with specialized training in media relations.  Conducted more than 400 interviews in all forms of media with local, state and national outlets including CNN, PBS, ABC, and the Associated Press.

Open Arms

October 1996 - January 2010

Open Arms is a sexual assault and domestic violence organization in Ohio with cash flow and assets in excess of $1.5 million and more than 11,000 square feet in facility space. During my tenure we doubled the facilities and staff and increased community donations five-fold, completed a successful capital campaign and raised more than $1 million through events.


Lead successful county-wide committee working with elected officials to pass a Criminal Justice Tax.  Won first voter approved tax in 50 years. (2003)
